The Brief

We were approached by a global, NASDAQ –quoted, insurance and reinsurance broking firm who had recently lost a long-standing, niche and specialist team from their London non-marine division. 

The client needed to swiftly identify individuals who could replace the outgoing team, defend the existing portfolio of business and make a positive statement to the market.

We were awarded the search on the basis of our market credibility and knowledge of the sector and were given extremely tight timelines to identify suitable candidates.

The Approach

Working with our dedicated research team, our consultants identified key individuals in London, Germany, Switzerland and France. A shortlist was subsequently produced and interviews took place over the course of a week in both London and Zurich.

The Results

After a second round of interviews, offers were made and accepted by two senior candidates who both have a strong reputation and market presence within the sector. The search was concluded swiftly within a two-month period and one of the successful candidates was able to join the organisation after a short notice period.
